Elvira II: The Jaws of Cerberus came out in 1991 for MS-DOS, published by Accolade. It was part of that wave of early 90s PC games that leaned into dark fantasy and point-and-click adventure, though it mixed in a good dose of real-time combat. The game picks up right after the first one, with Elvira trapped and the player trying to rescue her from the underworld.

You control a custom character, choosing from classes like warrior, wizard, or rogue, and navigate the dungeon screen by screen. The main goal is to gather ingredients for a ritual to defeat Cerberus, all while managing limited inventory and fighting monsters in first-person combat. Spells require specific components, so if you run out you might find yourself relying on basic weapons.
