Eyes is one of those arcade games that looks simple at first—just a little pixelated character moving through dark, maze-like levels—but then suddenly you're sweating because something unseen is chasing you. The retro graphics give off serious 80s arcade vibes, but the gameplay feels fresh when you realize how much the shadows mess with your perception.
At first, I thought it was just about dodging obstacles, but then I noticed the eyes. They blink at you from the darkness, and half the time you don’t even know if they’re part of the puzzle or just watching. The controls are tight, though, which helps when you’re panicking and trying to backtrack through a level you barely remember.
If you like games that make you second-guess every corner, this one’s a solid pick. Just don’t blame me when you jump at your own shadow afterward.
