Game Overview

If you're into Eyeshield 21 and somehow still own a PSP, this one's a fun little time capsule. It's basically American football with anime logic—expect ridiculous speed bursts, over-the-top tackles, and all your favorite characters like Sena and Hiruma yelling at each other in Japanese. The controls take a second to get used to, but once you figure out the timing for dodges and passes, it feels surprisingly fluid for a handheld sports game.

Matches are fast, chaotic, and just the right amount of silly. You’ll see linemen getting launched into the air, receivers pulling off impossible catches, and of course, Eyeshield’s signature blurry sprint animations. It’s not exactly Madden, but that’s kind of the point. The game nails the anime’s energy, right down to the exaggerated sound effects and chibi-style cutscenes.

Just don’t expect a deep career mode or anything—this is pure arcade-style football with a coat of manga paint. Still, it’s hard not to grin when you pull off a last-second touchdown with a dramatic slow-mo close-up.
