Game Overview

F-15 Strike Eagle on the NES is one of those old-school flight sims that makes you feel like a real fighter pilot—if you can get past the chunky graphics and steep learning curve. You're thrown into the cockpit of an F-15 with a radar screen, weapons controls, and a surprisingly detailed (for the time) flight model. The first few minutes are chaos—trying to lock onto enemy jets while avoiding missiles, realizing too late that you forgot to deploy countermeasures.

It’s not pretty by today’s standards, but there’s something satisfying about nailing a perfect missile shot after three failed attempts. The French version keeps the same tense dogfights, just with menus in French, Dutch, or English. Definitely a nostalgia trip for fans of early military sims.
