You start off choosing your mission—bombing runs, dogfights, the usual—and then it's just you, your radar screen, and a whole lot of enemy blips to worry about.

The controls take a minute to get used to (good luck remembering which button does what without peeking at the manual), but once you do, there's something weirdly satisfying about lining up a perfect missile shot while dodging flak. Just don't expect fancy graphics—this is pure 8-bit warfare, complete with that classic NES soundtrack blaring in the background.

It's definitely more strategy than arcade action, so if you're into methodical, slightly clunky retro flight sims, this one's a solid time capsule.
