Play F-Zero X Online
F-Zero X throws you into hovercars at insane speeds, whipping through loops and corkscrews while wrestling with 30 different vehicles—each handling like its own beast. Four-player races turn into pure chaos as you scrape walls and barely recover before the next ridiculous turn.

F-Zero X takes the breakneck speed of the SNES original and cranks it up to absurd levels on the N64. You’re still racing hovercars miles above the ground, but now the tracks twist into loops, corkscrews, and other ridiculous shapes that’d make a rollercoaster designer jealous. The first time you hit a full 360-degree loop at 1000 km/h is pure adrenaline.
Instead of just four cars, you’ve got 30 this time—each with weirdly specific handling quirks. I kept crashing into walls with the heavier ones until I realized lighter models could actually drift around tight corners. Unlocking new vehicles feels rewarding, especially when you finally get one that clicks with your reckless driving style.
The multiplayer mode is where things get properly chaotic. Four players crammed onto those narrow tracks means constant shoving, spin attacks, and the occasional accidental plunge into the abyss. And if you ever get bored of the main cups, the X Cup generates completely random tracks—some are genius, others are borderline unplayable, but all of them are fast as hell.
It’s still one of the few racing games where “going off the track” means free-falling through the sky.
