Play Famicom Top Management (Japan) Online

You hire coders, pick genres, and sweat over sales numbers while your advisors roast your terrible game ideas—somehow managing a fake NES studio in 1991 is way more tense than it should be.

Game Overview

Ever wanted to run a video game company in the NES era? Famicom Top Management is this weird little 1991 business sim where you play as the CEO of a Nintendo-like studio. It’s all pixelated menus and spreadsheets, but somehow it’s weirdly addictive—you’re hiring programmers, picking genres (RPGs sell better than shooters, apparently), and praying your next game doesn’t flop.

The fun part is how sarcastic it gets. Your advisors will straight-up tell you your idea is trash, and sometimes your "masterpiece" ends up selling like three copies. There’s a surprising amount of strategy too—do you play it safe with sequels or gamble on something experimental? It never left Japan, but if you’ve ever played Game Dev Story and thought "I wish this was jankier and in Japanese," this is your holy grail.

Honestly, half the appeal is how bizarre it feels to manage a fake Nintendo in 1991 while knowing how things actually turned out. Just don’t go bankrupt before you can make your own Super Mario Bros. knockoff.
