Play Fast Break Online
Pick the Lakers, sprint down the court, and sink those jumpers—the AI actually fights back if you turn up the heat. For an MS-DOS game, the players move way smoother than they’ve got any right to.

Fast Break came out in 1989 from Accolade, a time when MS-DOS games were figuring out how to make sports feel real on a PC. It was a basketball game that stood out for trying to capture the speed of the sport without the clunkiness a lot of other titles had back then.
You control a five man team, switching between players to pass, steal, and shoot. The main goal is to outscore the computer opponent, quarter by quarter. Signature mechanics include calling specific plays with a menu, executing fast breaks after a defensive rebound, and timing your jump shots for a higher percentage. The game moves at a quick pace, and the AI provides a decent challenge, especially on higher difficulty settings. It feels responsive and surprisingly fluid for its era.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
