Play Final Stretch Online
Race your car through a full season or quick events, manage your throttle, draft strategically, and aim for the championship in Final Stretch on SNES.
Final Stretch came out for the Super Nintendo in 1993, developed by Genki. It was part of that wave of early 90s racing games that tried to capture the feel of televised motorsport, sitting alongside other SNES titles that focused more on simulation than pure arcade action.
You control a single race car, working your way through a full season or just jumping into a quick race. The main goal is to either win individual events or secure enough points to become the season champion. Two mechanics stand out: the qualifying session before each race, where you set your starting position, and the split screen presentation that mimics a live broadcast with race info and timer. The game demands careful throttle control and strategic drafting to conserve your car; it's not an easy win. Driving feels weighty and deliberate, making each clean lap genuinely satisfying.
