Play Fire Striker (Beta) Online
Bounce your samurai and mages like pinballs to smash enemies—mess up the angles and your healer goes flying into a wolf pack. Weird, chaotic, and weirdly satisfying.

Fire Striker came out in 1994 for the Super Nintendo, developed by DTMC. It was one of those later SNES releases that tried something a little different, a mix of action and puzzle mechanics that didn't really fit into a standard genre. It felt like a product of that era where developers were still experimenting with the hardware, pushing beyond the typical platformers and RPGs.
You control a hero who must navigate through a series of single-screen rooms, using a sword to strike your party members like balls to defeat enemies and break obstacles. The main goal is to clear each screen of foes to progress, collecting pieces of the Triforce-like Fire Orbs to eventually challenge the final boss. The core mechanics involve precise angles and rebounds; you're constantly positioning your characters and judging the ricochet to hit targets, all while managing their health. The pacing is deliberate, almost puzzle-like, and the difficulty comes from managing chaos as your bounced allies can easily careen into hazards. It feels like a strange, tactical game of magical billiards where every shot counts.
