You start as Fish Dude—just a medium-sized fish minding your business in a tiny pond. Problem is, everything here wants to eat you. The first few seconds are pure panic: darting away from birds swooping down, dodging bigger fish with terrifying teeth, and trying to snack on the tiny guppies before they get away. It’s chaos, but in that fun, old-school Game Boy way where every pixel feels life-or-death.

Once you get a rhythm going, it clicks—you start hunting smaller fish, growing bit by bit until you can actually fight back against the bullies who chased you earlier. But those three lives disappear fast if you get cocky. One wrong move near a heron, and suddenly you’re back to being a snack-sized fish again. The game doesn’t hold your hand, but that’s what makes surviving feel so satisfying.
