Play Flying Hero Online
Rescue falling people and deliver them safely to the hospital while avoiding hazards.
Flying Hero came out for the Nintendo Entertainment System in 1990, developed and published by Epic/Sony Inc. It was one of those late-era NES games that tried something a little different, focusing on rescue missions instead of the usual platforming or shooting. It didn't get a huge amount of attention at the time, but it had a clear, simple idea that made it stand out for some players.
You control a helicopter pilot whose main job is to save people falling from buildings and fly them to the hospital. The core gameplay involves carefully maneuvering your helicopter beneath falling civilians to catch them before they hit the ground, then navigating through a city full of obstacles like birds, other aircraft, and tall structures. You need to manage your fuel and avoid crashing, which adds a layer of tension to each rescue. The difficulty comes from the increasing speed and number of falling people, requiring quick reflexes and precise movement. It feels urgent and a little stressful, but satisfying when you complete a stage without losing anyone.
