Play Football International (Europe) Online
Pick your country, then slide-tackle pixel players across a tiny field—goalkeepers flop like they’re in molasses, and nobody gets carded. Pure chaotic Game Boy soccer.

Game Overview
Football International (or just "Soccer" if you're playing the Japanese version) is one of those early Game Boy sports games that somehow makes tiny pixelated players feel intense. You pick from a handful of national teams—Germany and Brazil were always my go-tos—and then it’s straight into top-down matches where the ball physics are weirdly satisfying for something this simple. Slide tackles send players flying, and the ref never cards you, which is hilarious.
It’s definitely barebones by today’s standards—no leagues, just exhibition matches—but there’s something oddly addictive about the chunky sprites and the way goalkeepers dive in slow motion. The music’s got that classic Game Boy bleep-bloop energy too. If you’ve got a soft spot for retro sports games, this one’s a solid time capsule from 1991.
