Play Force 21 Online
Pick a side, move tanks through villages and snow, and outthink the enemy—forget scouting once and watch your platoon get wiped. Blow bridges, set ambushes, and pray your radar intel’s right before the real fight starts.

Force 21 came out for the Game Boy Color in 2000, developed by Red Storm Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. It was part of a wave of late-era portable games that tried to bring deeper, more tactical experiences to a system mostly known for platformers and RPGs. You don't see many real-time strategy games on the GBC, but this one gave it a solid shot.
You control a small platoon of futuristic tanks and infantry, moving them across grid-based maps to complete objectives like seizing bases or destroying all enemy units. The game plays out in real time, with fog of war hiding enemy movements until you get close. Key mechanics include using radar to scout ahead, blowing up bridges to cut off enemy advances, and positioning your units to set up crossfires. The pacing is deliberate; rushing in usually gets your forces eliminated fast. It feels tense and thoughtful, like a compressed game of chess where every wrong move costs you. You really have to outmaneuver the computer to come out on top.
