Game Overview

Fun School 2 for the Amiga is one of those classic educational games that somehow makes learning feel like playtime. It’s designed for little ones under six, but honestly, I’ve seen older kids sneak in some rounds too—especially with the mole game.

You start by picking one of eight activities, each with adjustable difficulty. There’s something charmingly simple about Shape Snap, where you just say if two shapes match, or Teddy Count, where you shout out how many teddies are wobbling on screen. (Spoiler: They’re always adorable.)

Find the Mole is weirdly addictive—you guess which hill the mole’s hiding under, and the game nudges you with hints like "higher" or "lower." Meanwhile, Colour Train has you stopping a chugging train at the right station to match its color, which sounds easy until the train speeds up.

And then there’s the Teddy Bear Picnic maze, which is basically the cutest way to teach basic navigation. The whole thing feels like a cozy, low-stakes playground where kids can poke around without pressure. Parents can even add their own words for spelling practice, which is a nice touch.

It’s very much a product of its time, but in the best way—simple, cheerful, and full of teddies.
