Remember that time in elementary school when you wished you could actually climb aboard the Magic School Bus? This Sega Genesis game is basically that fantasy come to life—with all the janky 16-bit charm you'd expect. One minute you're platforming through a cartoonish human bloodstream, the next you're bouncing between planets with that same weird mix of science facts and chaotic energy from the show.

The controls take some getting used to (why does jumping feel so floaty?), but there's something oddly satisfying about how faithfully it captures the show's vibe. I kept getting distracted reading the random pop-up facts mid-level—turns out learning about mitochondria while dodging giant white blood cells is way more fun than it sounds. And Ms. Frizzle's sprite? Perfectly unhinged, just like her TV counterpart.

It's definitely more "educational toy" than tight platformer, but that's kind of the point. You can tell the developers really loved the source material, warts and all. Just don't expect Sonic-level polish.
