Funky Jet is this weirdly satisfying arcade beat 'em-up where you're basically a flying boxer. You pick between two characters (both rocking jetpacks and goofy pilot goggles), then bounce between platforms punching out enemies. The stages start simple but get brutal fast—you'll be dodging attacks while trying to knock every last thug off their perch before time runs out.
What I love is how chaotic it gets when you play co-op. You and a friend can team up, but half the time you'll accidentally punch each other mid-air while scrambling to clear screens. The bosses are these ridiculous oversized characters that take way too many hits, and the time bonuses actually matter if you want to rack up a decent score. It's the kind of game where you'll fail the first few tries, then suddenly get into this rhythm of flying, punching, and barely making it to the next screen.
Also, the boxing glove sound effects never get old.
