Futari wa Precure: Arienai! Yume no Kuni wa Daimeikyuu came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2004, published by Bandai. You pick either Cure Black or Cure White and guide them through a series of side-scrolling stages, punching and kicking your way through shadowy enemies called Zakenna. The main goal is to fight through each level, defeat the boss, and ultimately clear the Dream Labyrinth to save the Dream Kingdom. Signature mechanics include pulling off special attack combos by inputting simple button sequences and a two-player cooperative mode where a friend can join as the other Cure. The pacing is brisk, and the difficulty is fairly manageable, making it accessible for younger players. It feels like directly controlling a condensed, interactive episode of the show.
