Hoshi no Kirby: Kagami no Daimeikyuu—or Kirby & The Amazing Mirror if you're not playing the Japanese version—is one of those Kirby games that sticks with you. Right off the bat, things go sideways when Mirror World splits Kirby into four, and suddenly you're navigating this huge, interconnected map that feels more like a puzzle box than a straight path.
What I love is how chaotic it gets when you call in your other Kirbys for help—sometimes they actually listen, other times they just bumble around, and it’s hilarious. The Smash ability is stupidly fun (basically Kirby doing his best impression of a fighting game character), and there are so many little nooks to poke around in. It’s not the usual Kirby experience, but that’s why it’s still so memorable years later.
