Game Overview
Hoshi No Kirby - Kagami No Daimeikyuu (Eurasia) (J) is one of those Kirby games where you immediately feel at home if you've played the others. The first few levels ease you in with simple platforming, but the mirror gimmick starts twisting things pretty quickly.
I remember getting stuck in this one room where you have to bounce light beams between mirrors to hit switches. Took me way too long to realize I could just inhale an enemy and spit it at the mirror to adjust the angle. That mix of combat and puzzle-solving keeps it interesting.
Some of the later stages get surprisingly tough, especially when the screen flips and you're suddenly controlling mirrored Kirby. The art's bright and cheerful as always, though the GBA's small screen makes some of the finer details hard to see.
