Game Genie (PD) is basically a cheat cartridge for NES games—you plug it in, punch in codes, and suddenly your Mario has infinite lives or your Contra run starts with spread guns. It's weirdly satisfying to break games this way, like poking holes in the rules just to see what happens.

At first it feels like you're getting away with something, but after a while you realize some games just aren't fun when you can't lose. Still, there's something nostalgic about flipping through the codebook, trying random combos to see what glitches out.
