Ghost Chaser Densei is one of those SNES beat 'em ups that flew under the radar outside Japan, but it’s got this weird charm to it. You pick from three ghost hunters—each with their own moves—and just start wrecking undead gangsters in a side-scrolling brawl. The sprites are chunky, the hits feel satisfying, and there’s something oddly fun about punching ghosts into submission.

At first, I went with the guy who looks like a cop because, well, he’s got a gun. But turns out the martial artist is way more fun when you get the hang of his combos. The levels throw these weird supernatural twists at you, like fighting possessed vending machines or dodging haunted traffic. It’s not the deepest game, but it’s got personality for days. If you dig old-school brawlers with a supernatural twist, this one’s a solid time.
