Ghost Pilots (Set 2) came out for the Neo Geo in 1991, published by SNK. You control a fighter plane, moving up the screen while shooting down enemy aircraft and ground targets. The main goal is to survive each stage, defeating a boss at the end of every level. Signature mechanics include collecting power ups to enhance your weapons and a screen clearing bomb for tight situations. The pacing is relentless, with enemy fire coming from all directions, and the difficulty can feel punishing if you're not careful.
