Game Overview

Gnafu appeared in the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, a compilation of zero-budget shareware titles from the early 1990s. The developer remains unknown, lost to the era of floppy disk trading and BBS downloads. It fits right in with the experimental, often unforgiving games of that platform, where a simple concept and minimal graphics were the norm.

You control a small, blocky character navigating a single-screen maze filled with neon-colored enemies. Your only goal is to survive as long as possible while these adversaries bounce around the enclosed space. The core mechanics involve deftly dodging the hostile shapes and using temporary power-ups that occasionally appear, like a speed boost or a brief invincibility flash. The pacing is relentless from the start, and the difficulty escalates quickly, demanding sharp reflexes and constant spatial awareness. It feels like a tense, high-stakes game of tag where one wrong move ends everything.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
