Go! Go! Dodge League is one of those SNES games that makes you wonder how you missed it back in the day. It’s basically organized chaos—you and up to three others frantically dodging everything from bouncing balls to random hazards while the screen gets more and more ridiculous. The first time I played, I lasted about 10 seconds before getting smacked by a rogue dodgeball, and I was hooked.
It’s got that perfect arcade feel—simple controls (just run and jump, really), but the real challenge is reading the madness as the stage fills up. The Japanese version has this weird, energetic charm with over-the-top sound effects and bright, chunky sprites. Solo mode’s fun, but it absolutely shines as a multiplayer mess where you’re laughing as much as you’re yelling at your friends. If you’ve got a soft spot for forgotten 16-bit gems, this one’s a riot.
