Goody came out in 1987 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games series, published by Opera Soft. It was one of those puzzle platformers that felt right at home on a beige PC tower, a game you'd load from a floppy disk and play for an afternoon. It didn't try to be epic; it was just a clever, contained challenge from an era when games were often built around a single, solid idea.

You control a little character pushing blocks around intricate, single-screen levels. Your goal is to clear a path to the exit, but it's never that simple. You have to avoid enemies and navigate traps, all while carefully planning each block's placement because a wrong move can trap you completely. The pacing is methodical, almost tense, as you plot each step, and the difficulty ramps up quickly, demanding real spatial reasoning. It feels like solving a series of small, satisfying logic puzzles with your hands.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
