Play GP Rider Online
Dodge unpredictable AI riders while managing fuel and sudden rain—those slick tires won’t save you when the track turns into a slip-n-slide. Split-screen makes even solo races feel alive.

Game Overview
GP Rider is one of those old-school Sega Master System motorcycle racers that somehow still feels fresh. You’ve got all 15 tracks from the 1989 Grand Prix season, plus a bonus arcade track—which is great, because some of those real-world circuits are brutal. The split-screen setup is weirdly charming, even when you’re racing solo against Wayne, the AI rider who actually screws up sometimes like a real person.
You’ll qualify first to snag a decent grid position, then race against 15 others while watching your fuel tick down like a time bomb. Run out mid-lap? Congrats, you’re now a DNF. The weather can switch between qualifying and the race, so you might start on slicks only to get caught in the rain—unless you’re in arcade mode, where it’s always dry.
What I like is the setup choices: manual or auto gears, high or low ratios, and in the proper championship modes, you pick between engines that trade speed for fuel efficiency. The thirsty one’s a gamble—faster, but you’ll be sweating every corner. It’s simple, but just deep enough to make you think before hitting the track.
Not gonna lie, Wayne’s occasional blunders make solo races way more fun than they should be.
