Play Gravedigger Online
Swing your shovel at skeletons, dodge spike traps, and hunt for treasure in tight little crypts—it starts simple, but those puzzles get mean fast.

Gravedigger came out in 2002 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by InFluid Software. It's a game that feels right at home on that platform, with its pixelated visuals and straightforward, screen-by-screen dungeon design. There's no grand pretense here; it's a compact, focused experience from an era when games often relied on clever mechanics over cinematic flair.
You control a lone gravedigger armed with a shovel, exploring a series of underground crypts. Your main goal is to collect all the treasure in each room while avoiding traps and defeating enemies like skeletons and ghosts. The gameplay involves careful movement, timing your shovel swings to hit foes, and solving environmental puzzles, such as pushing blocks or avoiding pressure plates that trigger spikes. The pacing is deliberate, and the difficulty ramps up quickly as later stages introduce more complex hazards and enemy patterns. It feels tense and methodical, where every step matters and mistakes are punished immediately.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
