Play HAL's Hole in One Golf Online
You swing through wacky courses with lava pits and bouncy mushrooms while your weirdly cheerful caddy hands you the worst club possible—physics are just janky enough to make every shot a surprise.

HAL's Hole in One Golf came out for the Super Nintendo in 1991, developed by HAL Laboratory. It was one of the earlier golf games on the system, arriving before some of the more simulation-focused titles that would follow. It had a distinct, almost playful look that set it apart from the more serious competitors.
You control a golfer from an overhead perspective, working your way through a series of increasingly bizarre courses. The main goal is simple: get the ball in the hole in as few strokes as possible. The signature mechanics involve navigating strange hazards like moving platforms, warp pipes, and bouncing mushrooms, all while managing a caddy who frequently suggests the wrong club. The physics are unpredictable, making each shot feel like a gamble. The pacing is quick, but the challenge ramps up significantly on later courses. It feels like a chaotic, almost silly take on the sport where planning only gets you so far.
