Game Overview

HardBall! is one of those Amiga sports games that actually gets baseball right. You pick your team, step up to the plate, and suddenly you're sweating over whether to throw a fastball or risk a curveball that might hang too long. The pitching feels surprisingly sharp—you can really mess with the batter’s timing if you mix things up.

Stealing bases is nerve-wracking in the best way, and swapping players mid-game adds this layer of strategy most arcade baseball games skip. Play it solo if you must, but it’s way better with a friend trash-talking across the couch. The whole thing just clicks once you get the timing down.
