You navigate your motorcycle using the D-pad, managing speed and trying to avoid other vehicles that frequently cut you off. The game uses a split-screen view during two-player mode via link cable, a notable feature for its time. Races are short but demanding, with aggressive AI opponents and tight corners that punish mistakes. It feels like a constant, jittery battle for control on a screen that's just a little too small for the speed.
