Harley's Humongous Adventure came out on the Super Nintendo in 1993, developed by Visual Concepts. It was one of those games that tried something a little different on a system already crowded with platformers. You control Harley, a kid who gets shrunk by his own invention and has to navigate the now-massive landscape of his home. The main goal is to find all the pieces of the shrink ray to return to normal size. The gameplay is built on screen-by-screen exploration, using a jetpack for vertical mobility and a slingshot to fight off oversized enemies like ants and spiders. The pacing is deliberate, often requiring careful jumps and resource management with your limited jetpack fuel. It feels like a cautious, slightly clunky scramble through a familiar world turned dangerous.
