If you ever wanted to wander around Hogwarts between classes, this PSP game actually lets you do that—between brewing potions, dueling with wands, and hunting down Luna’s missing earrings for some reason. It’s less about following the movie beat-for-beat and more about living in the world, with side quests popping up everywhere (honestly, half the school seems to lose their stuff constantly).

The potion-making minigame is weirdly satisfying once you get the hang of the button combos, though I definitely botched my first few Shrinking Solutions. And the wand fights? Way more fun than they should be—timing those deflections just right feels great, especially when you counter with a well-placed potion boost. Quidditch is here too, but let’s just say it’s not the highlight.

What’s cool is how much junk you end up collecting—wizard cards, gobstones, random chess pieces—all of which you can trade like wizardly pocket change. The Remembrall log helps when you forget why you’re supposed to care about stink pellets (you’ll understand). It’s messy, nostalgic, and exactly the kind of sidequest chaos you’d expect from a Hogwarts year where no one’s focusing on actual classes.
