You control Kevin McCallister, who is once again separated from his family, this time in New York City right before Christmas.
You guide Kevin through various locations from the film, like the plaza hotel and Central Park, moving screen by screen. Your main goal is to avoid hotel staff and the returning Wet Bandits while collecting items to set traps. The primary mechanics involve picking up toys and tools to use against enemies, and you also have a slingshot for direct attacks. The pacing is frantic, and the difficulty can be unforgiving, with enemies coming from all directions. It feels like a constant scramble to stay one step ahead of everyone chasing you.
