Game Overview
Remember playing Home Alone 2 on your old beige PC? This MS-DOS version is pure '90s nostalgia—you're Kevin, scrambling through New York while setting up ridiculous traps for Harry and Marv. The graphics are blocky as hell, but somehow that just makes the hotel lobbies and snowy streets feel even more charming.
Most of the game is a mix of dodging hotel staff (why are they so aggressive?), collecting random junk to rig up your defenses, and trying not to get caught. The controls take some getting used to—expect to accidentally walk into a few walls before you get the hang of it. And yeah, the tarantula level still creeps me out.
It's janky in that classic DOS way, but if you loved the movie or just miss when games came on floppy disks, it's weirdly satisfying to see those paint cans swing down in 16-bit glory.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
