Play Home Alone 2 - Lost in New York Online
You’re Kevin, sneaking through New York lobbing paint cans at bellhops and dodging the Wet Bandits—just don’t waste your snowballs on the wrong guys.

Home Alone 2: Lost in New York came out for the Super Nintendo in 1992, developed by Imagineering. It was one of many licensed games from that era, trying to capture the movie's slapstick energy on a cartridge. You don't get the full plot, just the basic setup of Kevin being alone in the city, which was enough for a simple action platformer.
You control Kevin McCallister, and your main goal is to navigate through a series of New York locations, from snowy streets to hotel lobbies, to ultimately reach the toy store and set traps for the Wet Bandits. The gameplay involves screen by screen exploration, where you collect coins and other items like snowballs and paint cans to use against enemies. You have to be careful with your limited ammunition, as wasting snowballs on civilians like bellhops or police officers will cost you points. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty can be unforgiving, with precise jumps and enemy patterns to learn. It feels like a frantic scramble to set up your next trick before you get caught.
