Play Hubie Online
You're this little round dude with antennas, puffing up to squeeze through gaps or spinning them to hover just long enough to barely clear a jump—then suddenly you're bouncing off springs and timing explosions to move blocks around. Those first few rooms trick you into thinking it's simple, then you hit a magnet puzzle that makes you sit back and rethink your whole life.

Hubie came out in 1996 as part of the MS-DOS Classic Games collection, developed by Serendipity Software. It was one of those puzzle platformers that felt right at home in the era of shareware and floppy disks, a time when games often relied on clever mechanics rather than flashy graphics.
You control a small round character with antennae, navigating through screen-by-screen rooms filled with obstacles and enemies. The main goal is to collect all the keys in each level to unlock the exit. Key mechanics include inflating your character to squeeze through narrow passages, spinning your antennae to hover briefly over gaps, and using springs and explosives to manipulate the environment. The pacing is methodical, and the difficulty ramps up quickly with puzzles that demand careful timing and spatial awareness. It feels satisfying to finally solve a room that had you stuck for a while.
Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
