Play Humans Online
You guide clumsy little guys through maze-like levels, nudging blocks and traps to keep them alive—until suddenly the puzzles make you rethink everything. That "aha!" moment when you finally outsmart a boulder trap? Pure Game Boy gold.

Humans came out on the Game Boy in 1992 from Imagitec Design, a time when puzzle platformers were finding a solid foothold on the handheld. It didn't try to be the flashiest game in your collection, but it offered a distinct kind of challenge that felt right at home on the small screen, sitting comfortably alongside other thoughtful, methodical titles of the era.
You control a small tribe of cavemen, guiding them one by one through a series of single-screen levels filled with hazards like pits, boulders, and enemy creatures. The main goal is simply to get a certain number of your humans safely to the exit on the far right. You'll spend most of your time pushing blocks to bridge gaps or block enemy paths, carefully timing your movements to avoid traps, and sometimes using a limited supply of bombs to clear obstructions. The pacing is slow and deliberate, demanding careful planning with every step, and the difficulty ramps up quickly as the environmental puzzles become more complex. It feels like a constant, quiet battle of wits against the level itself.
