Play Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Online

Whip Nazis in Venice, dodge spike traps, and outsmart grail puzzles—just don’t pick the wrong cup at the end. That tank level’s still a pain, though.

Game Overview

I first played Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade on the Sega Genesis back in 1990, published by Sega and developed by Tiertex. It was one of those early action-adventure games that tried to capture the feel of the movie, with all the platforming and exploration you'd expect from that era. It wasn't the most polished game on the system, but it had a certain charm and a lot of heart.

You control Indiana Jones through a series of levels, each based on key scenes from the film. Your main goal is to find the Holy Grail before the Nazis do. The gameplay involves a lot of screen by screen exploration, using your whip to swing across gaps and fight enemies, and solving environmental puzzles to progress. You'll also collect items like keys and ancient artifacts to unlock new areas. The pacing can be uneven, and some sections are frustratingly difficult due to stiff controls and instant death traps. Despite its flaws, it feels like a genuine attempt to put you right in the middle of an Indy adventure.
