Innocent Until Caught_Disk5 is one of those classic Amiga games that feels like it was plucked straight from the late '80s—because it was. You play as a detective trying to solve a murder case, but here’s the twist: you’re also the prime suspect. The game throws you into this weird mix of point-and-click adventure and puzzle-solving where every clue you find could either clear your name or dig your grave deeper.

The pixel art has that unmistakable Amiga charm, all chunky sprites and moody backgrounds. And the soundtrack? Pure synth goodness that somehow makes rifling through someone’s desk for evidence feel dramatic. The dialogue’s a bit clunky by today’s standards, but it adds to the retro charm—like you’re playing through an old detective novel where everyone talks in overly dramatic one-liners.

Fair warning: the puzzles can get obscure. I spent way too long trying to figure out how to get past a locked door before realizing the key was hidden in the most ridiculous place. But when it clicks, it’s satisfying in that old-school way where you feel like a genius for stumbling onto the solution. If you’ve got an Amiga emulator or the real thing lying around, it’s a neat little time capsule of early adventure gaming.
