Game Overview
Remember Inspector Gadget? Yeah, the bumbling detective with all those ridiculous gadgets. Well, he's back on Game Boy Color, and this time Dr. Claw's unleashed some nasty "Madkactus" virus—because of course he has. You'll jump between Gadget, Penny, and Brain across five levels, each split into four areas packed with traps and enemies.
Gadget's got his usual arsenal—hammer hat, spring arms, the works—but half the time you'll need to switch to Penny or Brain to sneak past obstacles he can't handle. They're quicker but weaker, and some sections turn into little puzzle mini-games where you've got to disable traps before Gadget can bumble through.
Keep an eye out for muffins (health) and GG symbols (extra lives if you grab 20). The plunger weapon is weirdly satisfying—you can snipe enemies from across the screen. Just don't expect Gadget to be any less clumsy. Some things never change.
