Play International Track & Field Online
Pick an athlete, mash buttons like crazy, and watch your stamina tank when you go too hard—those pixelated sprints and throws get weirdly intense.

Konami released International Track & Field for the Game Boy Color in 1999, a time when handheld sports games were often simple and direct. It was a portable take on the arcade style of track events, fitting right in with other quick play experiences on the system.
You control an athlete competing in events like the 100 meter dash, javelin throw, and long jump. The main objective is to win gold medals by outperforming computer opponents across a series of Olympic style competitions. Signature mechanics include rapid button mashing to build up speed or power, timed button presses for launching a javelin or initiating a jump, and managing an on screen stamina bar that depletes with effort. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can be punishing if your timing is off. It feels surprisingly tense for a game about running and throwing.
