You control Jim Power, a space marine who must rescue his kidnapped partner across alien worlds. The main objective is straightforward: fight through each side-scrolling stage, defeat bosses, and recover your partner. Signature mechanics include switching between a standard blaster and a spread shot, collecting power-ups to enhance your weapons, and navigating levels filled with parallax scrolling and enemies that appear to leap from the background. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty is high, demanding quick reflexes and memorization.
