Kamen Rider SD: Shutsugeki!! Rider Machine came out for the Super Nintendo in 1993, developed by Yutaka. It was part of that wave of mid-90s licensed games, especially ones based on Japanese superhero shows, that didn't always get much attention outside their home market. The game takes the chibi, super-deformed style popular at the time and applies it to the Kamen Rider franchise, shrinking the heroes down but keeping the action oversized.

You control one of several SD Kamen Riders on a motorcycle, scrolling through stages packed with enemies. Your main goal is to clear each area by defeating every opponent in your path, often culminating in a boss fight. Key mechanics include a standard attack combo, a screen-clearing special move that builds up with a meter, and the ability to jump and perform mid-air strikes. The pacing is fast, almost relentless, with enemies swarming from all sides, and the difficulty can feel unforgiving if you miss timing on dodges or specials.
