Kid Adventure 2 is one of those SNES games that somehow slipped under the radar, but once you start playing, you can’t believe it wasn’t more popular. The first thing you’ll notice is how bright and bouncy everything feels—like someone took the best parts of old-school platformers and cranked up the energy. You’re hopping between clouds, dodging these weird little blob enemies, and discovering hidden paths that actually reward you for poking around.
The controls are snappy, which is good because some of the later levels get seriously tricky. I remember getting stuck on this one ice stage for way too long before realizing I could use a bounce pad to skip half the obstacles. It’s got that perfect balance where you feel like a genius when you figure something out, but the game never holds your hand to get there.
If you’re into retro games at all, this is one of those "how did I miss this?" titles. It’s like finding a lost cartoon from your childhood—familiar but full of surprises.
