Kid Adventure 2 came out on the Super Nintendo in 1994, published by Kemco. It was one of those mid-90s platformers that didn't get a ton of attention but had its own little following. You played as this kid in a striped shirt, and the goal was pretty straightforward: rescue your friend from some villain across a bunch of themed worlds.

You control the kid, running and jumping through levels, defeating enemies by jumping on them or using a limited projectile attack. The main objective is to reach the end of each stage, defeat the boss, and move on. A couple of the mechanics stand out: you can collect power-ups that change your attack, and there's a lives system that makes you restart the level if you run out. The pacing is quick, but some sections get tricky with precise platforming. It feels like a solid, if sometimes unforgiving, afternoon time-killer.
