Play King of the Monsters 2 on Snes Online
Control giant monsters, battle in cities, throw punches, grapple foes, and unleash super moves in one-on-one fights in King of the Monsters 2 on SNES.

King of the Monsters 2 came out on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1993, published by SNK. It was part of that wave of arcade-style brawlers that felt right at home on the SNES, where you could just pick up and play something rowdy with a friend. The game didn't try to be anything more than a straightforward monster mash, and it fit right in with the kind of immediate, uncomplicated fun a lot of us were looking for back then.
You control one of several giant monsters, moving from city to city to battle other kaiju in one-on-one fights. The main goal is to defeat your opponent by depleting their health bar, either by throwing punches, executing grapples, or using special attacks. Two key mechanics define the action: you can pick up and throw your enemy (often through buildings), and you can perform a screen-clearing super move once your power meter is full. The pacing is fast and the difficulty can spike sharply, especially in later stages. It feels like a messy, satisfying playground of destruction where every match is a race to see who can demolish the other first.
