Play Kirby's Block Ball Online
Kirby’s a pinball now—you smack him into blocks that crack, crumble, or just laugh at you until you nail the right angle. Bosses turn the whole screen into chaos while that bouncy Kirby music keeps things weirdly cheerful.

Kirby's Block Ball came out for the Game Boy in 1995, developed by Nintendo and HAL Laboratory. It was one of those late-era releases that really pushed what the little handheld could do, visually and mechanically, before the Game Boy Color arrived. The game takes Kirby, who's usually floating around and inhaling enemies, and drops him into a pinball table, which was a pretty clever twist at the time.
You control the paddles at the bottom and sides of the screen, deflecting Kirby to break blocks and defeat enemies. The goal is to clear each stage of all blocks while avoiding hazards and losing Kirby off the bottom. Key mechanics include multi-ball stages where you juggle several Kirbys, and boss fights that turn the entire screen into a frantic pinball arena. The pacing is brisk; some screens are quick to clear, while others demand precise rebounds and patience. It feels satisfying to set up a perfect ricochet and watch Kirby tear through a cluster of blocks in one clean shot.
