Play Kishin Douji Zenki - Denei Raibu (Japan) Online
Pummel demons as Zenki in this overlooked SNES brawler—his screen-filling specials feel brutal but drain your spirit meter fast, so time them right. Two-player mode cranks the chaos up even higher.

Kishin Douji Zenki - Denei Raibu is one of those SNES beat-'em-ups that somehow flew under the radar outside Japan. You play as Zenki, this half-demon dude with a serious chip on his shoulder, plowing through waves of evil spirits with punches, kicks, and screen-clearing special moves that eat up your spirit gauge (so use 'em wisely).
The first thing you’ll notice is how loud it feels—big sprites, flashy attacks, and this crunchy synth soundtrack that perfectly matches the over-the-top action. It’s got that classic arcade chaos, but with a twist: between stages, you can spend points to upgrade Zenki’s speed, strength, or specials. I dumped everything into his lightning attack early on and regretted it when the bosses got tankier.
Two-player mode is where it really shines, though. Grab a friend, pick Zenki or his partner Chiaki (who plays totally different), and watch the screen dissolve into pure mayhem. Just don’t expect deep storytelling—the cutscenes are basically there to nod at the anime fans before throwing you back into the fray. If you’ve worn out your copies of Final Fight or Streets of Rage, this one’s worth digging up.
