Your main objective is to fly through large, multi-screen levels, destroying alien invaders and polluting organisms with a rapid-fire energy beam. The signature mechanics are the constant need to drink nectar from flowers to maintain your energy and a unique hovering ability that lets you stop on a dime to aim. The pacing is relentless; you are almost always moving, dodging enemy fire and environmental hazards like thorns or electrical barriers.
