Laser Light was one of those early shareware titles that came bundled on those MS-DOS Classic Games collections, the kind you'd find on a floppy disk or a multi-game CD. I don't recall the developer offhand, but it fit right in with the era's simple, direct arcade-style games that prioritized quick reflexes over complex stories.

You control a small targeting cursor with the mouse, clicking to fire lasers at geometric shapes that drift and bounce around a single screen. The main objective is to clear each wave of targets before the timer runs out or your lives are depleted. Signature mechanics include the way certain shapes, like diamonds, ricochet unpredictably off the walls, forcing you to lead your shots, and the occasional power-up that appears, granting temporary rapid fire or wider beams. The pacing is relentless; later levels become a frantic test of accuracy and prediction as the screen fills with chaotic motion. It feels like a pure, tense test of hand-eye coordination, where every missed shot echoes in the rising panic of the timer.

Each game uses different controls, most DOS games use the keyboard arrows. Some will use the mouse , "Alt" ,"Enter" and "Space bar".
